Hello everyone! Thank you for reading about my annual running and fundraising adventure!
This years run took place on Sunday 18th May starting at 9am. Glynn and I stayed
overnight in a guesthouse just 5 minutes walk from the racecourse, The Grovsenor
Guesthouse. Chester isn’t too far from Manchester and takes an hour at most to get
there by train. It is famous for its castle ruins and zoo, but it is a lovely medieval
picturesque town. I have written a blog entry about this run already so you can read
all about it here
I am rather pleased with this blog post and the terrific photo’s but you can see
many more in the photo gallery which accompanies this page. I hope you enjoy.
My aim is of course to raise funds for The Rutger Hauer Starfish Association and
I am still collecting sponsorship and welcoming any new sponsorship. It is never
too late! A huge thank you to all of you who have sponsored me I know I can always
count on you and I love you for it my friends. This is a team effort.Ithelps just
to spread the word so that as many people as possible know about starfish and what
Thank you to my friend Tori Ratcliffe who designed my t-shirt for a second year.
And now you can see he fab design in the photo’s. Check out her website Domestic
Blends and see what takes your fancy or what she can do for you
It is with great sadness that I will be dedicating this run to 2 friends I lost
last year. Margie Hall beloved sister of Tori who passed away suddenly over Christmas
and Suzanne Fleischman-Druge Gilbert who passed away on July 3rd of cancer. She has
a memorial page on Facebook
I am honoured to do this for them. I would love comments and feedback in my guestbook
too. Thank you all immensely. I am delighted to tell you that this year we raised
681 euros! Thank you all SO much! Take care! Much love Sarah xxx
